Smoking Cessation Session

 

What to expect

 

 

First you receive a simple intake form to fill out and send it me back. Or we fill it out together during the session but when I have it before the session it save us a lot of time.

 

The initial session could last from 2 to 3 hours. I recommend do not smoke before coming and bring with you your last pack of cigarettes.

 

In the first hour we go through your existing habits. Then we spend some time on changing the bad habit and testing it. We might go to the places where you used to smoke. For example your car, next to the computer, your special smoking places and so on.

 

Along with breaking the habit we work on the addiction part of smoking as well.

 

You also learn how to address weight management issues (if any) after quitting smoking.

 

After the session you do not need your last pack of cigarettes and might leave it with my ‘Last Pack Collection’.

 

Since we are dealing with a habit and an addiction for some people I might suggest having a short web/phone session during the first 72 hours. This is an average time for nicotine to dissipate and bring the craving to zero. You will be equipped with techniques to deal with craving (if any) easily during that time.

 

For most people it is it, nothing else you need to have this lasting effect of mind reprogramming to become FREE of smoking.
